Description of Service

Custom movies made from your video and photo library collection, based upon your instructions. With this service we create a "highlights" video and return it to you as both a MP4 movie file via the WEB, and on DVD or Blu-ray Disc for backup and safekeeping.

Pricing: $120 for 2 hours editing time; every additional hour is $85, billed in 15 minute increments. The standard price of $120 includes the following:

Free consultation and review of your intended scope of work after order placement. We do not charge your credit card until your scope of work is agreed upon and we have supplied the first draft of your new video. If your job requires more than 2 hours editing time, we will tell you upfront, and agree upon the revised job scope and final price before work begins.

We can offer onscreen titles, special transition effects, royalty-free background music and two (2) revisions to the new video, if necessary, after the initial, preliminary video is returned to you via the web for your review.

You receive a one year subscription to LightJar, a private cloud storage account for placement of your source files and final finshed video. It includes a feature for sharing the final product with others.

The final products are an MP4 movie file and video disc; with the disc(s) having a custom menu, surface label, and case sleeve for DVD or Blu-ray Disc.

Extra cost items

Conversion of analog media, such as video tapes or 8mm movie film, is available for an extra cost.
Licensed music, $5 per licensed song

Average turnaround time is two (2) weeks from receipt of customer's digital content to a new file and video disc being returned to the customer.

How it works: Submittal of your order to Cintrex is a two-step process - entering the order here in our online store, and then sharing your designated video & photo collections and Edit Decision List with the Order Entry department at Cintrex, so we can create your custom movie.

Place order in web store along with short memo on project scope (Click "Add to Cart", and "Checkout" and enter asked for personal information to submit order.)
Receive order confirmation. Within 24 hours you will receive from us instructions on where to upload digital content, or how to ship physical items into Cintrex AV
Upload your videos and photos and instruction document into your new LightJar cloud storage account. The instructions' document should contain your directions for us - onscreen title, order of content in video timeline, disc label, anything else that is particular to your order. If needed, you are welcome to fill out our sample Edit Decision List and place this in the uploaded files.
Once your Collection is complete, share it via email to order-entry@cintrexav.com.

Approve screen shots of disc surface, disc contents, and disc menu; we need your approval of the master disc before copies are made

With receipt of your order from the online Cintrex store and receipt of the content from your LightJar collections, we will begin our editing work. During the process, we will call you as needed; place rough drafts of our work into your LightJar account for your review; and place the final-cut version of the movie within your LightJar account for final approval.

We will also need your approval on disc labels, disc contents, and disc menu, etc, before making the master DVD or Blu-ray Disc. Extra copies of the disc can be ordered. We will return the finished discs to you in the average turnaround time of 5 to 10 business days. It is recommended that you keep the finished movie file in your LightJar account for safekeeping and future viewing.

Master disc and copies are made from Taiyo Yuden DVDs, Falcon DVDs, Verbatim BD-Rs, or Falcon BD-Rs
Custom DVD or Blu-ray Disc includes custom menu, onscreen title, disc labels, and case sleeve;

As a backup service, we maintain the master disc image for 90 days in network storage; this for extra copies, further editing, backup
