Marketplace Opportunities

Most orders into Cintrex request a video DVD as the standard final product; with the DVD containing the converted home movie films and video tapes of the Resellers’ customers.  But the customers’ video viewing practices are changing.  Note the recent developments in the consumer video front: 

• The latest computer laptops, pads, and tablets do not have disc drives to play video DVDs.   Response - offer conversion and storage solutions that have data file formats as the finished product.

• Modern Blu-ray players do more than just play DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.  They serve as gateways and media players for streaming video content from providers such as Netflix or YouTube; or play the content stored on the viewers’ own connected laptops or USB flash-drives.   Response - offer conversion and storage solutions that have data file formats and Blu-ray Discs as the finished products

• Consumers increasingly record in HD Video and play their content on HDTV.     Response -  provide reformatting solutions so customer are able to transfer their HD content on SD cards or camcorder hard-drives to Blu-ray Disc for watching on the HDTV; or to compressed data files they can share with others across the WEB.   You can also help them if they want to archive the content for future generations.

• Consumers are also becoming more capable of doing their own video editing; using the software tools that come standard on Windows and Apple computers.   Response - offer conversion solutions that have data file formats, specifically MOV or AVI or MP4, as the finished products.

• The video DVD DISC is being relegated to the backup copy for family home movies.  Today’s video viewing experience is much better served by digitized video and image content that can be easily transported, shared, stored in multiple places, and accessed from multiple devices.   Response - offer the customer two (2) new formats for the price of one (1).

• HDTVs are replacing older television sets, showing High Definition Content.   Response - offer customers film transfer to HD Blu-ray Disc for more profit and customer satisfaction.

• With customers recording so much content, there is an opportunity to help them manage their video clutter.   Response - offer solutions for the Do-It-For-Me customers that need help, too.   Offer them on-screen titles, sub-titles, voice narratives, and customer menus for their recorded memories, so that these recordings hold their value into the future.  People with money but little time will pay vendors/contractors for the work they deem valuable, such as the work of making video slideshows for special events, or onetime productions commemorating special moments  - we can help you with our Adobe certified video editors in our production lab.

• The Web is used to share videos, but bandwidth is still limited.   Response - convert home movies to mp4 file formats for easy access and transport across the Web.

• Take your business to the Web - we offer LightJar cloud storage services.  Conduct business with your customers over the web - take in their content, return their content, show them rough drafts of current projects, and help your customers save their priceless memories via LightJar.
