At Cintrex AV we can scan 2"x2" mounted 35mm slides to new digital formats - JPEG, TIFF, PNG.

This Service Includes:

2x2 mounted slide formats - 35mm, 110, 126, 127 and 828 - are Scanned and Digitized to Customers' Selected Format.
Pricing is $0.60 per 2x2 cardboard mounted slide. Metal-mounted or slides that require extra attention due to mountings falling apart, or other damage, are $1.00 per slide.
Resolution of scan is 4K (4,445 PPI)
We use either SlideSnap Pro or Nikon slide scanners
Digitial ICE for removing scratches and dust is available for an extra charge.
Output choices are JPEG, TIFF, or PNG Files
Scanned images are returned via data disc, or flash drive, or as zipped files via cloud service.
Optional Video Slideshow can be made containing scanned images, background music, and opening on-screen title
If a slideshow is chosen, this can be returned on a video DVD, or MP4 file returned on storage media or cloud service.

General Service Description for 35mm Slide Scanning:

Accept shipment of 35mm slides from customer
Inventory items and match customer manifest, assess collection for damage or needed repairs, repair slides mounts as needed
Establish return shipment date, place order in production queue
Establish workflow sequence
Use SlideSnap Pro for majority of slide scans
Use Nikon 5000 or Epson scanners if Digital ICE is selected to remove hair and dust particles, or for slides with damaged mounts
Output to selected file type
Optional - Use Adobe Photo Shop to apply color correction as needed to each individual slide (only as needed)
Verify resultant number of images matches original number of images; organize, group and name images to match original specified number of folders, sub-folders and files per folder
Transfer collection to customer provided or purchased storage media
Quality control review of digital items to verify output matches customer order, create packing list for shipment, invoice the order
Return ship to customer their original slides and slide containers, new storage media, and new digital copies of 35mm slides
Keep copy of digital collection in Cintrex AV internal storage for 90 days, or until customer reviews and approves their returned order(s)
Average turnaround for 1,000 slides scanned and returned - 10 business days from receipt of order back to customer doorstep.

Shipping: At the end of the order submittal process, we provide a link to a free UPS Shipping Label for attachment to your inbound package to Cintrex AV. The label will have your origination address and our destination address. Take the UPS labeled package to the nearest UPS drop-off point. Do not leave larger packages unattended outside a UPS dropbox, instead hand your valuable packages over to a store clerk inside a UPS store or drop-off location. Cintrex AV provides free shipping, both ways, on orders valued over $100. UPS shipping labels are created with your order and available for printing and attachment to your package. Orders valued at less than $50 are charged a $25 shipping & handling fee, and orders greater than $50, but less than $100, are charged a $10 shipping fee.

Warranty - If we make a mistake, we provide a 90 day warranty on our work for editing changes or redo's if necessary. Our intent is for you to be satisfied with the finished product. All finished jobs are placed in network storage for 90 days as protection against loss or damage to the original order, or if the customer wants further editing or extra copies.

Standard Resolution Photo Scans at 600 ppi; output is jpg digital files (Great for Sharing)
Hi-Res Photos Scans at 1200 ppi; output in jpg, tiff, or png file types (Great for Editing)
Photo images returned via the Cloud as zipped files, or on data discs, or on your storage media, or on flash drives purchased from Cintrex
Video slideshow of scanned images available for an extra $0.20 / image, includes one on-screen title and background music
If Video slideshow is chosen, you receive back a DVD with both the video and a folder containing the digital images

We save all customer jobs for 90 days in our storage network for further editing, extra copies of discs, and protection against loss.
