Overview

This service offering is for the reseller that wants to purchase an annual subscription to LightJar MANAGED Cloud Storage and resell this service plan to their customer. The reseller discount is 30% off suggested retail rates. Suggested retail rates are shown, but the reseller may price out the service as they wish. This service is ideal for bundling with your other services to offer a more complete proposal. Not only transfer the customers' content to new digital files, but give them a secure safe way to preserve their memories, and share them with friends and family.

MANAGED plans are a combination of our Active and Archived plans. They offer good value, and are less expensive than our ACTIVE plans. The customer's stored media that is frequently accessed is always available for download, play or sharing; while infrequently accessed media files are placed in archived state and can take up to 24 hours before being available to download, play or share.

This service is intended for online storage, organization and sharing of one's important videos, photos, and other media. LightJar provides visibility to stored assets via a modern browser from any device, and allows the subscriber to manage their assets, regroup them as needed, edit asset descriptions, and restore or share them when needed. Please note that media items that have not been accessed in the previous 10 days may have been placed in AWS Glacier, and can take up to 24 hours before being available for download or share.

LightJar MANAGED plans utilize both AWS S3 and Glacier storage, providing eleven (11) 9's content durability plus geo-redundancy of the data centers hosting the stored content.

Subscription is on an annual basis.

There are management tools to organize, edit, and search your content.

How It Works -

Place your order here. We do not charge your credit card until the customer's LightJar account is established. For existing Cintrex AV resellers with credit terms, we will honor these terms with LightJar, as well.

We will send you an email with your customer's log-in credentials for their LightJar account. Please forward this information to your customer.

Once logged into LightJar, subscribers can immediately begin uploading content to be placed in storage within LightJar. They will be able to look at thumbnail representations of their files at any time, and organize and edit file descriptions as needed. All files are available for download, play, or sharing with friends and family.

Upon the first year anniversary, the subscriber will need to use their own credit card information in order to keep their LightJar subscription active. Similarly, using their credit card, the subscriber may increase the size of their storage account at any time.

Supply your affiliate code and website address when entering this order. Enter "None" if you do not wish to provide us this information. However, if you provide us this information, three (3) good things can result. 1) you receive 15% commission when the subscriber renews their service one year from now. 2) the subscriber sees your company's name within the LightJar application. and 3) when the subscriber clicks on your company's name a new tab opens up to your website's own landing page, so the customer can buy more of your services.

Your credit card information for this order is kept with Authorize.net. A subscriber's credit card information is kept with Stripe, not with LightJar.

The subscriber may cancel their LightJar subscription at any time; however there is no refund for the remaining days left in the billing cycle for the annual subscription.

We also reserve the right to suspend or end LightJar at any time at our discretion and without notice if you do not abide by our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Support of Web Browsers and Media File Types - LightJar as a web application works best when using a modern browser. If a subscriber uploads a video, photo or audio file into their LightJar account from a laptop, tablet or smartphone, the subscriber will then be able to access, download, share, and manage these saved files from any other device with a modern browser. We have tested the service with Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox browsers. LightJar works well on current Android phones and tablets, Apple iPhones and iPads (IOS 7 & 8), Windows 7 & 8 OS computers, Apple MAC computers, and Surface tablets. The sign-in page, interface and web app are all responsive to varying screen sizes found on mobile devices. Media file support - Media file types such as MP4 for video, MP3 for audio, and JPG for images are universally supported by all major browsers, and will work fine in LightJar. Other file types, such as AVI files for video, are not recognized by some browsers, and may not play or display a thumbnail. In these instances, LightJar assigns a generic icon to represent these files, and these files are still stored in LightJar and may be organized into collections, renamed, downloaded and shared in the same way as any media file within your LightJar account.

Deleting Content - When the subscriber deletes media files from their LightJar account, the deleted files are placed in their DELETED bucket for 30 days before permanent deletion. Subscrirbers have access to the DELETED bucket at all times, showing all the deleted items, and they may choose to restore files or permanently delete them as needed. Please note that the GBs in the DELETED bucket count towards the subscription plan's quota.
