Product Description
Digitization of broadcast tapes and transfer of content to either DVD or Blu-ray Disc. Average
turnaround of your order is two (2) weeks from receipt into our lab back
to your doorstep.
Supported Broadcast Tapes are the following:

NTSC Tape Formats - U-Matic (3/4"), DVCAM, Betacam, Betacam SP,
Betacam SX, DigiBeta, HDV, DVCPRO25, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO 100, and Sony 1/2" open reel
tapes (special bid only)

PAL/SECAM tape formats - DVCAM, MiniDV, Betacam, Betacam SP, Betacam SE, DVCPRO (25, 50, 100) and DigiBeta tapes
Pricing is $40 per tape for conversion to a new video disc format (DVD or Blu-ray).
Archived Backup Option - for an extra $5 per broadcast tape, we place a copy of the new disc image in Amazon AWS Glacier via LightJar (our own storage services product). Price covers 1st year storage only.
We use professional tape decks with SDI, component, and IEEE 1394
connections tied into video ingestion software systems to provide high
quality capture and transcoding to requested outputs and information
tagging. Our video tape conversion processes include cartridge
inspection and repair, and tape cleaning. We also offer related service
products for video editing, custom menus and onscreen chapter titles.
Once digitized, the tapes' content is returned on one of 2 types of video discs:

DVD - labeled per customer specification (typically we combine multiple tapes' content onto few discs as possible, if you prefer a separate disc for each converted video tape, please tell us this in the notes section when placing your order)

Blu-ray Disc - labeled per customer specification (typically we combine multiple tapes' content onto few discs as
possible, if you prefer a separate disc for each converted video tape,
please tell us this in the notes section when placing your order)

We save all customer jobs for 90 days in our storage network for further editing, extra copies of discs, and protection against loss.
