Convert content on video DVDs to Blu-ray Disc or Data Files or PAL formats. Available files types are MP4, MOV, AVI, or WMV. Transfer pricing is $25 per DVD. If choosing data file ouputs, we will return files via the web as standard procedure, or we can place the files on storage media you provide, or storage media purchased from Cintrex AV. Order turnaround is 2 weeks after we receive your DVD(s), and you will receive back your new digital formats and physical source media if something was originally shipped to Cintrex.

Sending in your DVDs to Cintrex - for shipment of your actual physical DVDs into Cintrex, there is a prepaid UPS label available at checkout. If you do not want to ship the DVDs themselves, but their ISO image file copies instead, we can receive the files via the Web. Please address your file transfer to "order-entry@cintrexav.com" and reference your purchase's order number. If you need a file transport service for getting your DVD ISO images into Cintrex, please mark the LightJar option during the ordering process. Regardless of how you send us your DVDs, shipping and handling fees apply to orders less than $100 in value ($25 S&H if the order is less than $50, and $10 S&H for orders valued more than $50 but less than $100).

Video Blu-ray Disc - can contain up to nine (9) hours of standard definition video (MPEG-2), the approximate equivalent of 4.5 DVDs. The disc is a BD-R manufactured by eitherVerbatim or Falcon, and has an advertised shelf life of over 70 years if storedproperly. The disc is set up for auto-play with chapter points for every 20minutes of video content unless specified differently. If multiple DVDs are being transferred to Blu-ray Disc, the table of contents has a motion icon foreach DVD, and clicking on the icon takes the viewer to the correspondingchapter marker within the video content on the Blu-ray Disc. The one on-screen title, disc surfaces andcase sleeves are labeled per your instruction.

USB Flash-drivewith new data files. We offer 16GB and 32GB flashdrives, pricing is $20 and $35 respectively.

Externalhard-drive containing movie data files, typically used for conversion to MOV orAVI file types. The external hard-drivesare priced at $90 for a 1TB model.

The reformatting process:

1. Inventory the items, review customer directions;perform minor video editing that is standard on all orders - removal of blankvideo scenes, removal of copyright television or commercial movies, transferonly home movies' content;

2. Application of fee-based optional video editing ordigital noise reduction as ordered;

3. Transcoding (reformatting) the digital content intoMPEG-2 movie files (standard definition) for placement on Blu-ray Disc, or if converting to data files, then transcoding content from DVD to H.264 MPEG-4 movie files or other file types, and placing these onto selected storage media. Deliverables:

If you select data files for the new format - the content off the Blu-ray Disc is captured and reformatted into your chosen data file type, and then returned to you via the Web or storage media.

If you select a playable DVD, we will capture the Blu-ray content, and author a new DVD for you. The DVD-R can hold up to 2 hours of content, will have a opening custom menu, and depending upon selected region type, be able to work in all players for a selected region. We will label the disc surface and sleeve insert per your instruction.

Turnaround is an average of 2 weeks.

Cintrex AV can convert your digital videos (avi, mov, mp4, mts, mg3, etc.) to a playable video DVD or Blu-ray Disc. Click your preferred disc type during the selection process. You can send us your video content via the Web or via UPS with a prepaid label.

Pricing: $15 per hour of content for movies to DVD. $20 per hour of content for movies to Blu-ray. A little bit more for PAL optical discs. All orders have a 2 hour minimum. Orders less $100 have a shipping and handling charge of $10 for orders valued $50 or more, and $25 for orders valued less than $50. If you are sending us your content on a flash-drive, please use the prepaid UPS label that is generated at the end of the checkout process.

With receipt of your order and your emailed links to your collections, or receipt of your flash-drive, and after, confirmation with you on the scope of work, Cintrex will author a new disc. A draft disc will first be made for your your approval, before a final finished disc is made for your order. Turnaround time for the draft disc is 2 weeks after receipt of your video files.

If your requirements require the need for special authoring services, we will a quote first, before working your order.

We will maintain a copy of the DVD or Blu-ray Disc for 90 days in case extra copies or further editing is needed.

Disc Back-up Service for your mobile phone or tablet's videos and photos to M-DISC DVD or Blu-ray M-DISC. The M-Disc has up a 1,000 year shelf life, and provides an excellent backup for the media files on your mobile device and your mobile device's supporting cloud service.

We can backup your device's collection via web download links from the device's existing cloud service, or transfer them off the device's SD card. If you prefer to keep your SD card, and do not have an existing Cloud service, we suggest utilizing Cintrex's LightJar service (this will require you signing up for a month-to-month subscription plan, that you cancel before the end of the first month and avoid any credit card charges).

Available options for backup - Cintrex offers the following options for backing up your mobile devices videos and photos:

Data Disc - we offer either the M-Disc DVD data disc (holds 4.7GB of data) or M-Disc Blu-ray data disc (25GB storage); your digital files are placed on the storage disc; there is no reformatting of content
Video DVD - plays up to 2 hours of movies or image slideshows; video DVD-Rs can be played in any standalone DVD or Blu-ray player, or computer DVD disc drive.
Video Blu-ray Disc - plays up 3.5 hours of high definition video; plays only in Blu-ray players or computers with Blu-ray drive.

Pricing - $25 for up to 25GB of content. Additional storage options available. If wanting a video DVD, the extra cost is $25 for each video DVD. If wanting a video Blu-ray Disc to show high defintion movies in a Blu-ray player, the extra cost is $35 per Blu-ray Disc. Also, shipping and handling charges apply on orders less than $100.

With receipt of your order and your emailed links to your collections, Cintrex will place a copy of all content from your downloaded collections onto the appropriate archive media: and ship the discs or tape to the subscriber for safekeeping. Future retrieval of the content is possible with the appropriate disc media reader, such as a computer with a disc drive, or DVD or Blu-ray standalone player, or external Blu-ray drive connected to your computer.

Turnaround is 1 to 2 weeks after receipt of your order.
